ENGLISH / Report only display in French
« on: June 11, 2024, 03:38:27 »
When I run the individual reports they will not display in English.  The interface and report languages are both set to English.  Is there another setting I need to change?

ENGLISH / Personal Chronology View
« on: September 10, 2023, 03:23:47 »
Has there been any consideration to adding a personal chronology view in Ancestris?  I have used these views in Gramps (timeline quick view) and Legacy (Chronology View). I really miss the functionality of these view when using Ancestris.  Basically they display events for a person but also include family events ( Birth of parents, siblings, children) along with date and location.  I think this would be a valuable addition to Ancestris,  I love this program and would love this tool incorporated. I can post examples if there is interest in seeing these views.

Thank you for your consideration.

ENGLISH / Export single branch

I would like to export a single branch of my tree to share with someone. I have read the document but still am unsure on how to do this.  Any help would be appreciated.

ENGLISH / Share or copy/paste event
« on: April 20, 2022, 00:19:32 »
Is there a way to share an event or copy paste an event in Ancestris?  My typical workflow for a census would be to record a census event such as the "1920 US Census of Bernard Riegel Household" I will then either share the event with all the household members or copy and paste it to each household member.  That allows me to create the citation and transcription only once.  I can't find a way to do that in Ancestris.

Thanks,

ENGLISH / PortableApp version
« on: March 12, 2022, 22:12:53 »
Would it be possible to create a PortableApps version of Ancestris?  I often research at the library and it would be very helpful to have a version of Ancestris on a thumb drive that I could plug into the library computer and have access to my Ancestris database.
