Ouvrez la famille F230 avec l'éditeur GEDCOM.
Vous devriez trouver 2 tag WIFE.
Supprimez-en un et tout devrait revenir à la normale.

Personally, I believe that a woman doesn't change her name when she is married : she just use the name of her husband, but her name remain the maiden one.
That said, the most important point is to do always the same.
Choose a way to do it and stick with it.
I can't answer for you, you are free to do what you want.
For the middle name, the GEDCOM norm doesn't have any tag to store it.
So the ordinary way to do it is to put it in the given name field.

« on: January 13, 2024, 22:41:20 »I am trying to add attachments to each person in my tree (newspaper articles, legal documents, etc) that pertain to them. I must be adding attachments incorrectly though because the attachments seem to be more "global" to the tree in nature, and not associated directly with the person in the tree. Am i doing something incorrectly? How should I add attachments for specific people?If you create objects entities, they are not related to an individual.
Link them to the individual you want.
Further, once attachments are added, how are they stored? are they embeded into the .ged file (which would allow me to get rid of them on my computer file system and save space) or just linked from the .ged file to the actual file on the file system (which could be really problematic if files get moved)?The GEDCOM file is a text file.
There is no attachments embedded in it.
Ancestris uses the GEDCOM format to persists the data.
So, the attachments are just linked to the place where they are on your computer.
Don't move them.

With Ancestris, you can define this kind of information with multiple NAME.
Use Aries editor or GEDCOM editor to add others names and give a type of them (birth, adoption, recognition,... ).

Vous n'avez pas d'erreurs ?
Parce que dans le principe, il n'y a aucune raison qu'un fichier GEDCOM fonctionne avec la version 11 et pas la version 12.
Import ne sert à rien puisque normalement, cela détecte que c'est un fichier Ancestris.
