Hello,

despite having reported another problem to Zurga (ancestris-modules-editors-genealogyeditor-editors too long) I recognize that after an update to Java and a Ancestris13 I am missing the Plausibility check, previously located in Menu Extra...
When checking Options -> Extensions -> installed extensions the GEDCOM - Plausibility Check is activated with a green tick.

Is there a connection between the two incidents, or do I misinterpret something ?

thanks
Gerd

As I can see, you have Aries Twice in your installation.
This probably mean that you have reinstalled Ancestris without remove the old directory or you don't have remove the update directory in your user directory.

Please, remove the following directories if the exists :
.ancestris\trunk\modules
.ancestris\trunk\update
.ancestris\trunk\update_tracking
.ancestris\trunk\var\cache

Delete the Ancestris installation directory.
Then unzip Ancestris zip distribution file from the web-site.

This should correct all the trouble you have.

Thanks Zurga,

I deleted all named folders and as a result the Aries does not appear twice any more and the GEDCOM Plausibility Check is back again.

Many thanks
