Bug in pdf export of Ascending and descending multi-generations tree report

I have generated an ascending and descending multi-generations tree report to send to a relative, but have come across a problem. Any font I select for the "text in boxes" displays correctly in the Documents tab and in the PNG and SVG exported files, but a saved PDF always uses Times Roman. This means that some long names are truncated to fit the generated boxes. The nearest font I have on my PC is Times New Roman, which is quite similar, but even then the sex symbols are replaced by # symbols.

I am running the latest daily version of Ancestris, Java 21.0.5+9-LTS-239, and have generated this type of report (ReportGraphicalTree Version 2.0 - Updated 26-05-2025) for the first time, so I don't know how long the bug has existed.

Probably always.
In old version, you had the only default fonts as choice (Arial, Times, Helvetica,...). Theses font families are always recognized by PDF.
We use Batik to convert to pdf and it should display correctly the font in the pdf.
It seems it is not the case.
I will try to mitigate the trouble, but this is a complicated stuff, if it's not working by default.

Please, consider to transfer the data as svg or png instead of pdf.

Thanks. I can open the svg in Firefox and save as a pdf, so an easy workaround.

I have found a fix.

Thanks for the fix. The file is larger, but it displays correctly, and saves me some time.
