Hi Zurga! Personally, I think it's an excellent tool.

But I think many people "run into" the problem, that their location on the world map is missing info, in the form of their longitude and latitude.

You can click on the Globe when entering the location for an exact person, where you then are presented with a map, with a location arrow.

And this is where it would be nice, if it were possible to move the locations arrow to a location on the world map, where the longitude and latitude would follow in there respective boxes, as you move the arrow. As it is now, it cannot be moved, but only the entire map.

I don't know how much work it is to implement the option; but it would be a quite useful option.

Right-click on any location, you will have a contextual menu allowing you to move and copy the coordinates.

Hi Zurga,

The problem with the method you describe is, that it immediately copies this info into the boxes.
So it overwrites.
Only after the copy you can see what coordinates belong to the place where you did the right click.

If you could move the pointer, you would have the ability to see the coordinates while moving, and decide AFTER THAT if you want them to overwrite the coordinates that were already in the boxes.

So I second this request, it would give really nice control on the map.

But ofcourse I have no idea how difficult, and or, time consuming, it would be to implement.

It would be a great new feature to have.

Really, I don't understand your trouble.

You click, this move the pointer.
If your are not happy with the new location, do it again with the old location.
