Opening a GEDCOM I downloaded from Ancestry
« on: February 27, 2024, 02:19:03 »
I downloaded my tree from Ancestry, but am unable to open the file.  It tells me I have to have a .NET program downloaded and it didn't help.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me.
I've done the paternal side of my family and am anxious to see it.

Thank you,
Teresa

Hi, You need a .ged (not a .net) file. Once you're able to get one, you will open it with no problem with Ancestris. F.
