Dynamic tree split?
« on: June 23, 2022, 11:51:55 »
Hi all,
Newbie here.
I started my first genealogy tree by adding myself as per the starter manual, then wifey and kids. A bit later I added my parents and wifey's as well as other family members, and this is where my problems starts.
For some reason I now seem to have at least two dynamic trees in my initial genealogy tree, depending on who I double-click in the dynamic tree view.

When I click on myself, I see only my parents, their parents and our kids.
When I click on my parent's parents, I see their branch with kids and spouses.
When I click on my wife, I see only her parents and our kids.

Am I missing something here? Did I do something to the tree causing it to split in parts?
I thought I'd be able to see the entire complete tree, not only parts of it depending of who I double-click.

Any help and or hints on how to solve this is much appreciated.

When you double-click on one individual in the dynamic tree, you re-draw the tree focus on the individual you click on.
This tree can't display everyone at the same time, there is always a root individual.

If you want to see more, please look at the graphical reports.
