Adding photos

I'm just getting started and I'm already stuck. I'm sure this is supposed to be easy, but I'm apparently missing something: How do I add photos and document scans to records? The only things I can find talk about adding media, but when I try, the software apparently can't find any media at all on my iMac (or my MacBook Pro, for that matter). If it makes a difference, I am using Ancestris Version 11 on the Monterey 12.2.1 OS and everything-including Java-is up to date.

I would really appreciate any help!

You can thank Apple for this.
Ancestris can't access to Documents, Download and Desktop folders.
Please, move your document to another folder (like Public), and you will able to see them and add them to your genealogy.
