Factory Reset

I destroyed Ancestris in a short time. The windows are no longer as they should, the input fields work not as they should. I uninstalled and reinstalled Ancestris. But all settings for paths, windows and input fields remain. What have I to do to return to the factory settings?

I used Ancestris 11 with the Windows Installer.

You have to remove your user directory, check our documentation : https://docs.ancestris.org/books/user-guide/page/software-files-and-user-settings-files#bkmrk-the-user-directory
After you should be in "factory settings".

Don't hesitate to explain your trouble.
We could find some way to put the windows at correct place.

Thanks for your instructions. Now Ancestris works fine.

If it is just the windows, use also "Menu/Options/Save Window Settings..." and then choose option "Erase all user settings and restore Ancestris default".
