ENGLISH / Ancestris on Chromebook

I'm considering running Ancestris on a Chromebook.  I'm a little confused about where to store the media.  Is Ancestris capable of accessing Amazon photos? Or can you store the media files on a USB drive?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
