Title: How do I enter the living place of a person living onboard a ship
Post by: mother10 on August 06, 2022, 13:24:36
I have several persons who lived onboard a ship.
But i cannot enter a place for a ship because its moving. There are no fixed coordinates.
So how do I do that.
Thanks!

You can put the place you want.
There is no control at all from the software.

Thanks for your answer.
But I did not mean they died onboard.
They lived on a ship in stead of in a house in a city.
When they live in a city I can put the city as their home.

But how do you declare a "moving" home, a ship in this case, as their living place.
What I get now are places marked in red, because they dont have the correect mapping degrees.

Dutch: "woonde a/b ms xxx"
means:
Lived onboard the motorship xxx

Sorry to have misunderstood your message.
A ship can't be located at one place, so it seems OK to me to have default value for coordinates.

You can also put the name of the home port of the ship to locate it.
Or put some stopovers if you know them.

For me, there is no trouble with the software to have some places with no coordinates.
