When I manually check for updates in Ancestris 11 (nightly) on Windows 10, the message "Your application is up to date. No updates are available." correctly displayed in German!
However, this message is displayed in English under Haiku with Ancestris 11 (nightly).
However, the text in the head of the window is completely in German on both systems!
Although completely irrelevant for the use of Ancestris 11 under Haiku, I am interested in what it is.

Did you try to download the last version again from the site to test on Haiku ?
The first explanation I see is that this specific sentence is embedded into the core application module and this is not updated as other modules.

Thanks for the (as always!) Quick answer, Zurga!
I have newly downloaded Ancestris11 and stored in the existing directory, then unpacked.
1. None of the current installation manually deleted: English
2. Current installation directory 'previously' deleted: English
3. Also the directory .ancestris 'before' deleted: English
After the very first start of Ancestris, the message in German flashed briefly, but then switched to English. Could be two translations 'anchored'?

Do you have an idea that (other) causes could be responsible for this?
Remember that CI Dr. Google uses for the overlays (from me to you, from you to me).
Misunderstandings are therefore not excluded!

I have absolutely no idea.
There is no reasonable reason to explain that on this specific OS some labels are not correctly taken in account in the correct language.

Thank you!
I will share the link to this post in Haiku Discuss forum and ask for a possible cause of the problem.
