Title: Request: to add a functionality to add/write IPTC metadata to images.

Request: add an functionality/option to have the ability to add automatically and recursively (for all personnes and all images) the/some iptc keywords (related to the hierarchised ancestris data).

(FYI: a tool already exists, it's called exiftoof)

Examples, maybe by this way:
#exiftool -iptc:keywords+=name -iptc:keywords+=surname -iptc:keywords+=lieux_de_naissance iptc:keywords+=date_de_naissance iptc:keywords+=etc -o b.jpg a.jpg

Hello,

Instead of adding such functionality, it would be more accurate to write a report to do the trick.
Now, it's time to do a call to persons of good will to do so ;-) Help wanted ;-) Francois

You are right, it's, in fact, an easier alternative. (via a plugin) ;-)
