Bonjour,
Je trouve étrange d'avoir deux FAMC identiques pour la même personne. Si l'on doit avoir deux FAMC, ils doivent pointer sur deux familles à priori, l'une comme parents adoptifs, l'autre parents biologiques, et il suffit de les caractériser par un sous tag PEDI. Il suffit de corriger ça, comme le disait Jeannot, et ça va rentrer dans l'ordre. Francois

The problem is that the gedcom comes from Legacy, which has its own system for places. In the main part of the gedcom, you only have something like this:
1 BIRT
2 DATE 14 Sep 1952
2 PLAC Roskilde, Sømme, Roskilde, Danmark

But then at the end, you have a series of place definiitions like this:
0 _PLAC_DEFN
1 PLAC Roskilde, Sømme, Roskilde, Danmark
2 ABBR Roskilde, Sømme, Roskilde, Danmark
2 MAP
3 LATI N55.6023483333333
3 LONG E12.1490047222222
2 _RESOLVED 1
which is off course not recognized, no matter if I open or import 

Yeap, because we don't have an import plugin for Legacy, but I'm gonna ask Frédéric who has written most of all import plugins.
I suppose if he agree to write a specific plugin for Legacy, he will be able to add such a function to add the lat. and long. parameters for each places that match each _PLAC_DEFN tag.

Maybe we can add a function to the plugin to add those lat. and long. info for each place.

Hi,
When you loaded your gedcom file for the first time, did you "open" it, or did you "import" it? It would be a good idea to import it, if this gedcom comes from another genealogy program. We have importation modules that fix different problems generated by other genealogy programs.
Something else: if your lat/long are in your original gedcom they will be kept and you should be able to see them, ONLY if they are at the right places in your gedcom file - gedcom specifications speaking -
Something else : if you fire up the geo module you will be asked if you want to update your locations by searching on the internet.
I do not know if this helps.
I've asked Frederic, the author of the geo view to add a possibility to import beside the search on the internet, a csv local list of locations. It's now on his todo list ;-)

C'est sur que c'est normal d'avoir ce message d'erreur.
On ne peut pas avoir un tag OBJE sous la forme 1 OBJE @@. Il faut supprimer ces lignes mais avoir voir ce qu'il y a en dessous. Je ne sais d'où vient un tel tag, mais ce n'est pas Ancestris qui a fait ça. Ca vient s'en doute d'un autre logiciel ou d'une manip avec un éditeur externe. Francois

Avec les éditeurs graphiques, quand j'ajoute un média il prend la place du précédent ce qui fait que je n'en ai qu'un seul.

Si c'est le cas, c'est un bug qu'il faudrait signaler. Francois

Si vous utilisez l'éditeur gedcom, vous pouvez en rajouter autant que vous voulez. Au lieu d'en mettre un, vous en mettez quatre, cinq etc... Pour les autres éditeurs je pense que c'est la même chose. Je ne les utilise pas, mais si vous avez associé un média, vous pouvez en mettre autant que vous voulez. Francois

1. Je dois importer un gedcom de MyHeritage.fr et il y a des problèmes.

La meilleure chose à faire est de faire passer votre fichier gedcom - a condition qu'il sorte vraiment de MyHeritage et que vous ne l'ayez pas modifié, donc pas chargé dans Ancestris, fait des modifs et sauvegardé - à Frédéric. Il a fait tout un tas de modules d'importation qui corrigent des erreurs des autres logiciels. Le mail de Frédéric est frederic@ancestris.org

2. Je me fais la main en construisant un arbre et je ne vois pas comment ajouter photos et plsieurs documents liés à une personne.

Tout dépend de l'éditeur que vous utilisez, les éditeurs graphiques sont assez intuitifs, donc vous devriez trouver votre bonheur. L'éditeur gedcom se manipule par un clic droit ajout de propriété. Vous disposez d'une aide sur le wiki qui a été fait par Jean (Jeannot). Cela devrait vous donner un bon coup de main. Francois

Ce rapport n'a pas évolué avec les évolutions qu'on pu apporter Daniel et Frédéric. Je pense qu'il faudrait le revoir, comme d'autres d'ailleurs, pour s'assurer que toutes les fonctionnalités sont toujours actives. Francois
