Before the version 10, Java wasn't provided with Ancestris
You have to install the Java version, then use the installer, then configure the configuration file then launch Ancestris.
Actually, the process is simpler, but it is not intended to be for the current development version.
The version 12 is far better than the version 11 due to the 3 years since the last release.
It is not always the case.
Between v0.9 and v10, there was 5 years.
Between v10 and v11, there was 1 year.
I don't know what we will put in the v13, but I hope we won't have to deal with such a thing like GEDCOM 7 in any release.
So probably, we will create a v13 in less than 2 years.
The need of the current version installer will be less accurate.
