Proposition de rapport pour création d'abre graphique sous YeD

Bonjour,

Je suis nouveau sur le logiciel Ancestris (A peine une semaine) et je reprends la généalogie que j'avais commencé il y a quatre ans sous GenJ. Vu les améliorations qui sont en cours sous Ancestris, je me suis décidé à migrer.

Tout d'abord félicitation pour la création de ce logiciel qui me parait être une bonne progression de GenJ.
Je me permet aussi de proposer une amélioration qui a été faite sur GenJ et qui m'avait permis de réaliser des arbres généalogiques d'une grande qualité esthétique sous le logiciel propriétaire mais gratuit Yed.
Pourrait on intégrer le rapport permettant d'exporter ses données sous YeD comme GenJ actuellement ?

Sur un plan purement philosophique je dirais non.
Toutefois si rien n'existe en libre je dirais oui bien sûr.

In practice it quickly appeared too hard to maintain. But YEd does import .ged files with limited options. Just names and optional birth and death dates. You can manually add photographs as icons. Hint: export a limited version of your gedcom, or afterwards cut connections with the parts you don't want, rearrange and delete the unwanted sections. Warning: fitting nodes to labels causes overlapping dates.

A workaround could be a special export abusing the names with the desired embedded HTML content. Not sure it would actually work.

I tried to import my file.ged directly in the software YeD but the result isn't as good as the report of GenJ (the number of manipulations was so many that there was no benefit) . So, I decided in one hand, to use Ancestris to create the gedcom file and in the other hand, use GenJ just for create my family tree in YeD. Thanks for your help.

# Yannig. Merci pour votre réponse. Je comprend que le logiciel en question étant un logiciel propriétaire, cela ne soit pas une priorité pour un logiciel libre :) . Pour l'instant j'utilise ancestris pour implémenter mon fichier gedcom, ensuite je l’exporte sous Genj pour que je puisse créer mon arbre sous YeD. Cette solution me convient pour l’instant car je ne conserve pas toute les données du fichier Gedcom d'Ancestris pour mon arbre généalogique.

Out of curiosity I tried my suggestion to put html encoded content in the name. No luck. The html syntax uses / for closing tags and gedcom uses the same / as a separator. You can store it, but the YEd import does not recognise it.
