Copy and paste into a note ?

I'm trying to create a note linked to a "death event" : it seems I can't copy the death notification (from the local newspaper's web site) and simply paste it into the note. Or have I missed something ?

Can you edit the note, type some text? If not, then it may be a dummy note, first you must click on "Choose this note" (actually in French). This is at least what I have to do when creating a new note.

If you  use Linux * Ctrl+V doesn't work in Ancestris .
you'ĺl have to click in paste icon .

* Perhaps it's depend of your desktop environment but for mine (openbox)  Ctrl+V doesn't work  at all .
