Hello,
Request to have the ability to group some families into some families groups (FG) (useful for filtering) even if links already exist (so maybe as a new Tag: "FG ?)
(Maybe a workaround already exist but I checked function into "Save As - filters" and some plugins but I can not find this functionality)
Ex:
FG1 | FG2 | FGn
| |
| |
father mother1 | mother2 |
| | | | |
----------------------|------------ |
| | | |
-------------------- | ---------- |
| | | | | | |
child child child | child child |
Nota: a person can belong to multiple families groups (ex: FG1 + FG5 + etc)
---------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,
This must be addressed using a personal tag, as the one you said, but such a tag must begin with an underscore as "_FGxxx". Actually, there is no functionality with Ancestris to fullfill your request. Maybe one of the developers could be interested about that. I don't know. Of course using the gedcom editor you will be able to add such tags, but it's not with a GUI ;-) Francois
